Creating and sourcing the perfect audio to make dozens of projects sing.

As someone with a lifelong passion for music new and old, hits and deep cuts, I love to match the right song to the right creative piece. In my work supervising music, I’ve built deep experience licensing tracks, scouring stock library music, and creating a brand new songs from scratch. And when it comes to VO, I’m skilled at working with top voice casting agencies, recognizing the best auditions, and leading recording/mixing sessions to create a final piece greater than the sum of its parts.

Audio Supervision Process

For projects where budget is tight, I pride myself on having the technical and procedural knowledge to personally execute a lot of audio functions pertaining to creative work. But in my experience as an agency creative director, I’ve also developed amazing partners and resources to contract for world-class audio services.

Coldwell Banker: Original Composition + VO

For our “Dream” campaign, I casted Maya Tuttle as voice over talent and worked with my friends at CAYA Music to create an original composition for the commercials.

Coldwell Banker: Synced Music Track

As part of their 20th anniversary package of their most iconic album, I saw that the Flaming Lips had an instrumental version of “Do You Realize??” — it ended up fitting perfectly with this execution.

Coldwell Banker: Synced Music Track

I had always liked Spoon’s “The Underdog,” and thought it would make a great commercial track. When the opportunity arose to use it in this ad, the client loved the vibe it created.

Coldwell Banker: Synced Music Track + VO

When I was working on this longer video, I had recently watched Danny Boyle’s 2007 film, Sunshine, and was struck by its beautiful climatic orchestral piece. The track helped take our video to a whole new emotional level, and was a hit when played live at the client’s big conference. I also casted new VO talent to deliver the script in a way matched the rest of the tone.

Electrameccanica: Synced Music Track

I selected BRONCHO’s track, “Class Historian,” to accompany our marquee execution for Electrameccanica’s Solo vehicle, titled “Morning in Malibu.”

Electrameccanica: Stock Music Tracks

For the Electrameccanica client, I also dug through hundreds of stock tracks from different libraries to find more affordable options that didn’t lack energy or interestingness.

Electrameccanica: Synced Music Exploration

When we were working on a new edit for Electrameccanica, I was exploring two different vibes for the music. One was a more vintage vibe with a lyrical connection: “Electricity” by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark. The other was one of my all-time favorite house tracks: “Miura” by Metro Area.

A/V Production

My hobbies include music production and DJing, and over the years I’ve executed events, videos, and livestreams that depend on complicated audio visual setups.

What I’m Listening To

I’m constantly inspired by music of all sorts. Here’s a Spotify playlist of some of my current favorites.
